About Downloader NX
What this site does
Downloader NX is an independent browser-based utility and learning resource for people who need to save, inspect, or transcribe media from public X posts and public X Spaces replays. The site focuses on repeatable workflows, troubleshooting, file quality, accessibility, and responsible archiving.
The tools process public post URLs. They do not unlock private accounts, bypass deleted or restricted media, or require your X password. Downloader NX is not affiliated with X Corp.
How the site is built and reviewed
Downloader NX is maintained as an independent software project. The service uses FastAPI, browser-native interfaces, media inspection libraries, and FFmpeg-based workflows.
Guides are written from implementation work and repeatable browser tests. Each substantial guide includes a publication or review date, practical limitations, and links to related diagnostics instead of promising that every X post can be downloaded.
How we test guidance
- Test public post URLs without asking for account credentials.
- Compare desktop and mobile browser behavior where the steps differ.
- Explain failure states such as private posts, expired media, quoted posts, storage limits, and region restrictions.
- Distinguish source quality from player quality and avoid claiming that missing detail can be restored.
- Review copyright, privacy, and safety implications before recommending a workflow.
Privacy and media handling
Downloader NX does not ask for an X password or one-time code. Downloaded media is streamed to the requesting device and is not published as a public media library. Operational logs may contain ordinary technical request data used for reliability and abuse prevention; see the privacy policy for details.
Corrections
X changes its public interfaces regularly. If a guide is outdated or a step behaves differently on your device, use the contact page. Useful reports include the page URL, device, browser version, and visible error message. Do not send passwords, cookies, or private media.
